1st Quarter Session -
Date - April 1 to May 23, 2026 (8 Weeks)
About Session - This is an introductory 8-week session. As the quarter begins in April, students require additional time to prepare before performing publicly. No recital is scheduled for this quarter. Students will focus on foundational training in Bollywood, Kathak, Garba, Bhangra and Indian Folk dance styles.
Summer Dance/Acting Weekly Workshops
Date - June & July 2026
Timings - 9:00 am to 5:00 pm ( Monday to Friday )
Tentative Venue - Schaumburg & Naperville (weekly workshops)
About Session - These intensive summer workshops include both dance training and NAVARASA Theatre Acting. Students are trained in the nine emotions of the human body Srinagar (love), Hasya (laughter), Karuna (compassion), Raudra (anger), Vira (courage), Bhayanaka (fear), Bibhatsa (disgust), Adbhuta (wonder), and Santa (peace). Ms. Nikam, a trained Theater actress who has worked in Indian-International Musical Theatre, Indian Films & Indian Television Serials, leads these acting and dance workshops combining cultural values, history and mental exercises to help students study Indian Theatrical Drama deeply.

2nd Quarter Dance Recital 2026 -

Tentative Venue - Al Larson Prairie Center For the Arts, 201 Schaumburg Ct, Schaumburg, IL 60193
About Session - This showcase is the culmination of the 16-week session. Students perform Indian Classical, Bollywood and Indian Folk dance styles before an audience of 400 or more attendees including students, parents and the Indian American community. The entire showcase is choreographed, taught, designed and directed by Ms. Nikam. It is a cultural gathering celebrating the rich heritage of Indian dance traditions.

Cultural Events 2026-2027
About Session - Ms. Nikam performed in cultural events & dance competitions in 2025 in Illinois. In 2026-2027 Ms. Nikam will be performing for the same organizations for HOLI Festival, Desi Junction Expo, National India Hub Independence Day Celebration & Diwali Celebrations, Bihar & Jharkhand Association of Naperville, American Indian Association Dance Competition. The dates and venue details for these events will be updated as soon as received from the organizations. Please find attached pictures and letters of 2025 events.
